Trek from M'hamid to Palm Grove and Desert Camp

Our first day begins around 9 am as our trusted guides from adventures desert finish loading the camels. It takes great skill to know how to load the camels and balance out the weight so that they are comfortable with their packs. We take great care with our animals to ensure they are well fed, watered, and rested. Camels are a lifeline in the desert and hold great meaning to us. As nomads, we have depended on them for thousands of years. They are a part of a nomad’s soul. Once everything is loaded, we begin our hike to the palm grove from M'hamid. Here, you will stop for lunch and rest before crossing over to the same dunes where we will make our camp for the night.
