Your friendly driver will greet you at the airport, whisking you away to your stunning riad, a tranquil oasis that will be your home away from home. Once you check in, take a moment to unwind and soak in the ambiance or venture out to explore the vibrant neighborhood that surrounds you. The bustling streets, captivating souks, and rich culture are just waiting for you to discover!

Welcome Dinner at the Riad

At 6:30 PM, we’ll come together for a delightful dinner at the riad, where you'll indulge in a mouthwatering Moroccan feast. This is the perfect opportunity to mingle with your fellow travelers, share stories, and make new friends. Michelle and Mohamed will be on hand to answer any questions you have about the journey ahead or the wonders of Morocco.

Important Arrival Information

Once you arrive in Marrakech and arrive at passport control you will need to give the passport control agent the address and name of the Riad where you will be staying. Please have this written down or printed out to give to the agent. It makes things much easier.

Morocco is a closed economy. You will need to exchange a small amount of money at the airport. You can either use the ATM or one of the Kiosks inside the Airport to exchange a small amount of money.

Day 2 - Marrakech

Today, explore the lively souks of Marrakech in great detail. The souks are a captivating maze of narrow alleys and passages, illuminated by the warm sunlight. Multicolored carpets, exquisite kaftans, aromatic spices, unique antiques, charming planters, delicate pottery, and exquisite jewelry are all blended with the bustling presence of motorbikes, donkeys, and the symphony of Moroccan merchants conducting their business. It is an overwhelming experience for the senses, so take your time to absorb it all, unwind, and embrace the vibrant atmosphere. Your knowledgeable guide will navigate you through this enchanting labyrinth, ensuring a truly immersive journey.

For those seeking one last adventure, Jemaa El Fnaa awaits, as it truly comes alive at night.

If prices for items are not listed, then haggling over the price is appreciated and expected. Your Guide will give you some guidance and explain the culture. The souks are very busy and buzz with activity. Please stay close to the group and do not separate. Your guide will give you instructions if you get separated from the group. Jemma El Fnaa is the famous square of Marrakech. It transforms in the evening with hundreds of food stalls, merchants and performers. Today's tour will be through areas that are very crowded. Breakfast and Dinner are included. The stop for lunch is not included.

Day 3 - Marrakech (Day trip to Essaouira)

Get ready for an unforgettable adventure as we whisk you away from Marrakech to the enchanting coastal town of Essaouira! This vibrant fishing village, known for its bohemian spirit and captivating history, promises a day filled with exploration and wonder. We’ll kick off our journey at 8:30 AM after a delicious breakfast, embarking on a scenic two-hour drive through Morocco’s stunning landscapes. Once we arrive, you'll be greeted by the pastel-blue medina, a UNESCO World Heritage site, where history and culture come alive! Join our knowledgeable guide for an immersive tour, as you stroll along the ancient walls that have stood for centuries and discover the bustling fish market—where the catch of the day is a feast for the senses! After your guided exploration, it’s time to indulge in a delightful lunch at one of Essaouira’s many charming eateries (at your own expense). Whether you choose to savor fresh seafood or sample traditional Moroccan dishes, your taste buds are in for a treat! With a few hours to play, you can wander through the narrow winding streets of the medina, shop for unique handicrafts, or simply unwind on the pristine beach, soaking in the sun and refreshing coastal breeze. As the day winds down, we’ll gather back together for the scenic drive back to Marrakech, taking with us unforgettable memories of a day well spent in Essaouira!

We will leave around 8:30 AM for Essaouira. Lunch today is not included. We will start our drive back to Marrakech around 4:00. Dinner will be served in the Riad this evening.

Day 4 - The famous sites of Marrakech

Tour Marrakech's Iconic Gardens and Palaces

Guided Tour of Marrakech Sites

Today's tour will take you to Jardin Majorelle, a must-visit destination in Marrakech known for being home to Yves Saint Laurent and the Berber Museum. Additionally, the guided tour will include visits to Bahia Palace and Ben Youssef Madrasa or the Secret Garden. If time permits, there will also be a chance to do some shopping in the souks.

Dinner show in the Agafay Desert

Enjoy a dinner show in the Agafay desert. Indulge in a delightful dinner and enjoy a lively show in a beautiful setting. It is sure to be an exciting and memorable evening

Breakfast and Dinner are included (excluding alcohol). Lunch is not included. Private guided tours are included. Enter fees to attractions is not included. Total price for all 3 attractions is approximately 35.00 dollars and can be purchased the day of the tour.

Day 5 - Marrakech to Agdez (The Journey to the Sahara)

Today, we are embarking on a journey to the Sahara. Our route will take us through the Atlas Mountains and into the Valley of 1000 Kasbahs. Along the way, we will make a stop at Kasbah Talouet for lunch, followed by a guided tour of the kasbah. We will then marvel at the captivating beauty of Ait Ben Haddou before continuing our journey further south to Agdz and its enchanting palm grove.

Kasbah Hinini

For the night, we will be staying at the charming Kasbah Hinini, a delightful guest house nestled in the heart of the palm grove. Surrounded by a captivating old, decaying kasbah and a stunning garden, it promises to be a wonderful place to rest.

Dinner at the Riad

In the evening, we will have the opportunity to unwind from our day's drive and savor a delightful dinner at the riad. Before retiring for the night, take a leisurely stroll through the enchanting gardens and soak in the tranquil ambiance.

Breakfast and Dinner included. Today's Drive is around 4 1/2 hours. The road over the Atlas mountains if curvy with many switchbacks. Please be advised if you have motion sickness. At times the road may be bumpy.

Day 6 - Agdez - Erg Chigaga - The Sahara Desert

Journey to M'hamid and the Sahara

Today, we embark on an unforgettable adventure as we head south towards M'hamid, our final stop before entering the magnificent Sahara desert and your luxury desert camp. Our journey will take us to Tamegrout, where we will explore the renowned Green pottery of Morocco. Immerse yourself in the rich history and tradition of pottery-making as you witness the incredible craftsmanship that has been passed down for centuries. Don't miss the chance to take a fascinating tour of a pottery factory and gain a deeper appreciation for this beautiful art form. After a fulfilling lunch break, we will rendezvous with our knowledgeable guides in M'hamid, the gateway to the desert. Mohamed and his team from Adventures Desert will be your companions for the next three days. With their expertise and deep connection to the desert, you will be in the best of hands.

Sunset and Campfire in the Sahara

As the evening approaches, prepare to be spellbound by a jaw-dropping sunset over the golden dunes of the Sahara. After a delectable dinner, unwind by the campfire and let the captivating melodies of the Sahara, skillfully played by Mohamed and his talented team, transport you to another world. Take a moment to marvel at the sparkling stars before settling in for a peaceful night's rest.

Breakfast and Dinner are included. Lunch is not included. Tour of the pottery Factory is included. You will transfer into 4x4 SUV's for the ride off road to the desert. The ride off road is approximately 1.5 hours and over rough terrain please be prepared if you have the tendency to get car sick.

Day 7 - Erg Chigaga

Unforgettable Sahara Sunrise, Camel Ride, and Sandboarding

Wake up to the aroma of freshly brewed coffee on a dune, overlooking a magical sunrise in the Sahara.

Camel Ride through the Sahara Dunes

After breakfast, embark on a camel ride through the enchanting dunes of the Sahara, experiencing the landscape as nomads have for thousands of years.

Lunch at the Desert Camp

After returning from your camel ride, enjoy a sumptuous lunch at the camp.

Relaxation and Meditation in the Dunes

Spend the afternoon relaxing, soaking in the tranquility of the surrounding dunes, or find a quiet spot to meditate and rejuvenate.

Climb the Highest Dune and Sandboarding

As evening descends, climb the highest dune to witness a breathtaking sunset and try your hand at sandboarding for an adrenaline rush.

Dinner and Campfire Music

Enjoy a delightful dinner accompanied by soothing melodies of music by the campfire before sleeping under the star-filled sky.

Day 8 - Erg Chigaga to Ouarzazate

Travel from Erg Chigaga to Ouarzazate

After another fabulous breakfast we say goodbye to the desert as we travel out of the desert. We will stop for lunch and a little shopping making our way north to Quarzazate the film capital of Morocco.

Riad Chay or similar

Your riad for the night is Riad Chay or similar, a charming riad located just outside of the city in beautiful surroundings. Take a dip in the pool and wash off the dust from the desert before dinner.

Dinner at the Riad

Enjoy a delicious dinner in the riad before retiring for the night.

Breakfast and Dinner are included. Lunch not Included. Today's drive is approximately 5 hours. Roads may be a little bumpy so be prepared. The trip out of the desert is around 3 hours and very bumpy so please be prepared for this ride early in the morning. Please make sure you have handled all your needs before we leave.

Day 9 - Ouartzazate - Marrakech

Journey from Ouarzazate to Marrakech with Historic Kasbahs

Journey from Ouarzazate to Marrakech

Today, we will journey from Ouarzazate to Marrakech. Along the way, we will visit Aït Benhaddou and Kasbah Amridil, both of which were constructed in the 17th century and serve as remarkable testaments to Moroccan history and culture. After our visits, we will continue our drive to Marrakech, where we will check into our accommodations for the evening. You will have some time to relax and prepare for your trip home.

Breakfast is included today. Lunch and Dinner are on your own. We will not tour Ait ben Haddou but we will tour Kasbah Amridil. The tour is included.

Day 10 - Marrakech - Airport Transfer

Check out time is 10:00 am. The last transfer to the Airport will be 10:00 am. Please book your flight departing Marrakech prior to 1:00pm. If you cannot book a flight leaving prior to 1:00 please let us know. You will incur extra fees for airport transfer.
