This afternoon, take a leisurely stroll around the vibrant neighborhood surrounding your riad, or simply unwind after your journey. For dinner, indulge in a delightful meal at your riad or savor the flavors at one of our top recommended restaurants. Excitement awaits!
Get ready for an exhilarating day! Our adventure begins with a delightful breakfast in the riad before your driver arrives around 8:00 AM. We’ll embark on a scenic 6-hour journey to Agdez in the breathtaking Draa Valley. Along the way, we'll make several exciting stops, including a visit to a vibrant women's run rug cooperative, where you'll witness their incredible craftsmanship. We’ll also take time to marvel at the stunning Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Our route takes us through the majestic High Atlas Mountains and the Tizi n'Tichka pass (alt 2260 meters), leading us through the enchanting Ounila Valley, dotted with ancient villages and Kasbahs. Finally, we’ll cross the Anti-Atlas Mountains to reach the charming Hara Oasis Lodge.

Begin the day with breakfast and a stroll through the palm grove before we embark on our 4 hour drive through the Draa Valley. The Draa Valley is home to 3 million date palms and hundreds of Kasbahs.
The drive continues to Tamegroute, famous for its green-glazed pottery and ancient Koranic Library.
We continue on to M'hamid where the paved road ends and the Sahara begins. Once in M'hamid you will visit a family to learn how the people living on the edge of desert live and how life is has changed for them due to sever drought. We will have tea and they will prepare lunch for us.
We will then transfer to 4x4 SUV's for our 2 hour off road adventure into the desert. We will arrive at our home for the next 2 nights Erg Chigaga Luxury Camp just in time for a sunset and a beautiful dinner under the stars.
