Welcome to Marrakech Morocco

Arrive to Marrakech via Marrakech Menara Airport.

Transfer to your Riad. Welcome dinner will at 7:30 in your Riad.

Add on a tour if you arrive to your riad prior to 10:00. Just call us and let us suggest a great tour.

Day 2

Marrakech

Begin your day with a wonderful Moroccan breakfast in your riad. Your private guide will meet you at your riad for your Marrakech tour. You will visit several sites and tour the souks and markets of the Medina.

This evening we will have dinner at a local restaurant close to the riad.

The High Atlas Mountains and the Draa Valley

Today we begin our journey south. We will travers the High Atlas mountains on our way to the Draa Valley and the Hara Oasis Lodge. We will make several stops along the way to enjoy the spectacular scenery, to visit a women's rug cooperative and to view the UNESCO World Heritage Site Ait Ben Haddou.

This evening relax in the beautiful gardens of Hara Oasis Lodge and enjoy the art galley that is on the grounds of the guesthouse. Dinner will be served family style this evening at the guest house.

Agdez to M'hamid to Erg Chigaga (the Sahara)

After enjoying a hearty breakfast, we embark on our exciting journey toward the Sahara Desert. Our first stop will be in the charming village of Tamegroute, where you can shop for the renowned Moroccan Green Poetry. Following this, we will visit a local family in the village of M’hamid, where the road meets the vast expanse of the Sahara. Here, you’ll have the unique opportunity to immerse yourself in the daily life of Moroccan families, meet the children, and savor a delicious lunch with them.


In the afternoon, we will be greeted by our Bedouin guides and set off in our 4x4 SUVs to explore the breathtaking Sahara Desert. Awaiting us is our luxurious camp, nestled under a sky filled with spectacular stars, promising an unforgettable experience.

The Sahara

Begin your morning with a breathtaking sunrise over the golden dunes of the Sahara, experienced from the unique perspective of a camel ride. After soaking in the serene desert landscape, enjoy a restful pause followed by a scenic picnic lunch beneath the shade of tamarisk trees, accompanied by our knowledgeable Bedouin guides. The experience continues with an intimate visit to one of the few remaining nomadic families, offering a rare glimpse into traditional desert life. This extraordinary day is just one of many highlights awaiting you on this immersive Moroccan tour—an opportunity you won’t want to miss!

On the Road to Fez

Today, we’re waving goodbye to the Sahara as we head north to Midelt, our overnight stop before we arrive in Fez. It’s a long drive, but we’ll have plenty of chances to stop and enjoy some beautiful scenery, Kasbahs, and delicious food along the way.

Midlet to Fez

As we proceed towards Fez from Medlet, we will make a brief stop at Atelier Kasbah Myriem, a school established by Franciscan sisters to impart needlework and weaving skills to local women, thereby providing them with a means of supporting their families. The Franciscan sisters have a longstanding history of addressing the needs of the local community through various initiatives, including the establishment of schools, orphanages, and health clinics.

Fez

Discover the enchanting city of Fez, Morocco’s educational heart, on an exclusive private tour. After a restful night, immerse yourself in the vibrant Medina and stroll around the majestic royal palace. Enjoy breathtaking panoramic views of Fez from the historic 16th-century fortress of Borj Nord. Savor a delightful tea experience at a hidden tea room nestled within the bustling souks. Explore the University of al-Qarawiyyin, the world’s oldest university, still thriving since its founding by a woman in the 9th century. Conclude your day with a delicious dinner at a nearby restaurant, followed by a serene night in a stunning Moroccan Riad.

Fez to Volubilis to Chefchaouen

Today, we embark on an unforgettable journey from the historic city of Fez to the awe-inspiring UNESCO World Heritage site of Volubilis. Dating back to the 3rd century BCE, Volubilis was once a thriving Roman outpost on the empire’s far western frontier. Known for its stunningly preserved mosaics, triumphal arches, and the remnants of grand basilicas and baths, this ancient city offers a rare glimpse into life at the edge of the Roman world. A knowledgeable guide will bring the ruins to life as we explore the site’s fascinating history and architectural marvels.


After our visit, we’ll continue to the enchanting mountain town of Chefchaouen, famously called the “Blue Pearl of Morocco.” Nestled in the Rif Mountains, Chefchaouen captivates visitors with its dreamy blue-washed streets, serene plazas, and artisan shops. Upon arrival, we’ll check into our charming riad before heading out for a delicious local dinner, surrounded by the beauty and magic of this picturesque town.

Exploring Chefchaouen

Your day in Chefchaouen starts with morning light illuminating the blue-washed medina. A private guide meets you at your riad to explore the narrow lanes and hidden courtyards, sharing the town’s history, architecture, and the significance of its blue walls. You admire wooden doors, handwoven textiles, and the quiet life in the old medina.

At midday, the aroma of street food draws you to stalls offering maakouda, msemen, and lamb skewers, each reflecting Chefchaouen’s culinary traditions.

Afterward, you explore the medina independently, visiting artisan shops and enjoying views of cobalt steps and bougainvillea.

As evening approaches, you dine at a local restaurant with tagines and mint tea. The medina quiets as the light fades over the Rif Mountains, ending your enchanting day.

Chefchaouen to Rabat

Today, we embark on a journey to the picturesque coast and the vibrant capital city of Rabat. En route, we will pause for a delightful tea break, taking in the charming countryside adorned with lively villages and the daily activities of the Moroccan people. Upon arriving in Rabat, you will check into your riad for the evening, where a sumptuous dinner awaits.

Rabat and Sale

Begin your morning with a scenic tour of Rabat, immersing yourself in the city’s rich history and vibrant culture. Your first stop is the iconic Hassan Tower, the unfinished minaret that has become a symbol of the city, followed by a visit to the majestic Mausoleum of Mohammed V, where the intricate architecture and solemn atmosphere pay tribute to Morocco’s royal heritage.

From there, wander through the Andalusian Gardens, a serene oasis filled with fragrant flowers, lush greenery, and picturesque walkways that invite a moment of relaxation. Continue your exploration at the Oudayas National Museum, housed in a beautifully restored kasbah, where you can admire traditional Moroccan arts and artifacts.

After a leisurely lunch, your afternoon unfolds with a private guided tour of Salé, Rabat’s historic twin city across the Bou Regreg River. Stroll along its narrow streets, learn about its storied past as a pirate haven, and discover its mosques, medersas, and local markets. Conclude your day with a deeper appreciation of the twin cities’ unique blend of history, culture, and coastal charm.

Rabat to Casablanca

Our last full day in Morocco we say goodbye to Rabat and head to Casablanca where we will tour the Hassan V Mosque. This Mosque is spectacular work of craftsmen ship. We will have a guide tour of the Mosque. Afterwards we will head to our hotel for your final night and our final dinner together.

Leaving Morocco

Today you will be leaving from the Casablanca airport. Check out time is 11:00 and the hotel has a free shuttle service to the Airport.
